Google drops blogs. Are you a victim?

Last night, google rolled out a massive algorithm update which included a correction to the ways in which it handles blog indexing.  As many of you may know by now, any blog under a Page Rank 6 was dropped from Google's primary index.  The real estate world was hit hard with major players like CondoDomain, Sellsius, RainCity and even RSS Pieces falling out of the Google search results.  Read on to find out if your blog was hit and how you can correct the situation.

Are you scared?  Come on, you know this just has to be my APRIL FOOLS JOKE.

Thank you to the ever playful Kevin Boer of 3OceansRealEstate for coordinating this Real estate blogosphere April's Fools fun.

See who else is in on the fun by visiting these April Fool's Prank participating blogs.

I've been worried about this for a while; I guess it had to come eventually. The rumor I've heard is that if your blog has a PR of 5 or lower, you can still get featured in the natural search results as long as you buy at least $100/month of Google Adwords.

Do you plan to make macadamia nut flavored pieces? I hope so, I just got back from Hawaii and they have those nuts there. Have you ever been to Hawaii? You know it is a series of islands that were all spit up by the same volcano? It is also the 50th state, I wonder where the 51st stATE Will be( darn caps loCK). Probably will be Tahiti or Bahamas, but not the one where Joe went I think it sank, or one of those islands near the one on Lost. Do you watch Lost? I think the show is really a travelogue for a resort that they are building there. Like swimming with dolphins but there you get to be an Other. I guess though if you made the pieces with the macadamia nuts you would have to make the cups with the macadamia nuts too. I'd like that. Well, I am glad I found you while searching for candy. Have a nice weekend.

Wow, I thought I was finally going to have a moment for myself not having to update the blog:)  What a horrible and pleasant joke.  Interesting to see how many real estate bloggers took part.
