As many of you may know by now, any blog under a Page Rank 6 was dropped from Google's primary index. The real estate world was hit hard with major players like CondoDomain, Sellsius, RainCity and even RSS Pieces falling out of the Google search results. Read on to find out if your blog was hit and how you can correct the situation. Are you scared? Come on, you know this just has to be my APRIL FOOLS JOKE. Thank you to the ever playful Kevin Boer of 3OceansRealEstate for coordinating this Real estate blogosphere April's Fools fun. See who else is in on the fun by visiting these April Fool's Prank participating blogs. theXBroker (P.S. Do not call him BrokerX, he becomes quite hostile and his whole head turns red. Frightening.) The rumor I've heard is that if your blog has a PR of 5 or lower, you can still get featured in the natural search results as long as you buy at least $100/month of Google Adwords. Comment from: Richard Cook [Visitor] Do you plan to make macadamia nut flavored pieces? I hope so, I just got back from Hawaii and they have those nuts there. Have you ever been to Hawaii? You know it is a series of islands that were all spit up by the same volcano? It is also the 50th state, I wonder where the 51st stATE Will be( darn caps loCK). Probably will be Tahiti or Bahamas, but not the one where Joe went I think it sank, or one of those islands near the one on Lost. Do you watch Lost? I think the show is really a travelogue for a resort that they are building there. Like swimming with dolphins but there you get to be an Other. I guess though if you made the pieces with the macadamia nuts you would have to make the cups with the macadamia nuts too. I'd like that. Well, I am glad I found you while searching for candy. Have a nice weekend. Comment from: Jonathan Dalton [Visitor] Come on, now ... I managed to hook someone with my April Fools Day post. That ought to be worth something right? Now I even missed out on one of the delicious RSS Pieces backlinks too. :) Tom Comment from: Arlington Virginia Condos [Visitor] Funny! I ran to read this post as my blog had just been placed on CondoDomain's newsfeed for the DC metro market. Good one.... j Comment from: Lydia Taylor [Visitor] Wow! That was funny! You almost got me going with that one! Anyway, I did an April Fools post too on my Elegant Augusta GA Real Estate Blog. http://www.northofthesavannah.com/fun-stuff/this-just-in-augusta-ga-100-safe-from-global-warming-flooding/ Comment from: Keith [Visitor] Great job Mary, I'm 2 days late and you still got me! Comment from: Missy Caulk [Visitor] Dang, Mary I almost logged off and checked to see where I went. HA HA, good one. Comment from: Christine [Visitor] Mary - a bit late on this one - but I have to confess - you had me doing a double take. That was a good one!.. Btw, your site looks great and I thrilled to "see" ya back at it! Comment from: Danilo Bogdanovic [Visitor] I'm a little late reading this, but thanks for the laugh. Comment from: Bill [Visitor] Wow, I thought I was finally going to have a moment for myself not having to update the blog:) What a horrible and pleasant joke. Interesting to see how many real estate bloggers took part. Comment from: San Francisco Real Estate [Visitor] Where would the world be without blogs?
