RSS Pieces is a blog hosting and publishing company based in Cape Coral, FL.  We are not your average geeks, we are "technobitionists." Our primary team hails from the four corners of the geeky world: software, web application, web design and web marketing.  So, when we decided to build a company blog a few years back to talk about all the cool stuff weve been developing for Fortune 500 companies like Exxon, NCI Building Systems and Ford, we couldnt find an existing blog platform that did what we wanted.  We wanted to replace our websites with a blog.  Unfortunately, traditional blogs, simply cant do that- they are pretty featureless. 

So, whats a team of geeks to do?  You got it- we built our own patent pending blog platform- we call it "Diachronics™."  Diachronics™ is the backbone of the RSS Pieces blog system.  We loved it- used it for all our websites- even got a few heavy hitter clients of ours interested and using it.  Results were marvelous.  Our blogs quickly generated traffic and increased in the search engine results.

Advent of the power real estate blog

Then, fate struck... a Realtor® friend of ours came to us and said she wanted a blog.  She wasnt really sure what a blog was, but she knew she needed one.  So, we looked at her website--- horrible.  It ranked abysmally from an SEO standpoint, looked like my 18 month old son designed it and just didnt do much.   Then, we took a look at what Realtors® were using and what they really needed.  Setting out to build a bigger, faster, better real estate blog, we put together a feature set and viola- myRealtyBlog was born.

myRealtyBlog went into production use in March 2006 with our Realtor® friend as our only client.  She loved it- told some friends, before long we had a backlog of clients waiting for their shot at Internet traffic.  In August 2006, we announced our official launch with the RSS Pieces website and by November, we were advertising in Realtor® Magazine, speaking at various industry event and delivering the real power of the Internet to Realtors®.
