So, get your pen and paper and make sure you take notes like a school girl in History class. The following are the top 13 mistakes: 1. Not having a contact page – Having a contact page can not only be helpful to the reader but to yourself. How can it help you? Well let’s say that I’m a company called Busy Body Shoes, I would like to see if you’d be willing to advertise my company on your blog. Well wait, I have a problem, there is nowhere for me to contact you and see if you’d be interested in making a little extra money. You just lost the opportunity of earning some extra revenue from your blog. A contact page gives you access to business owners and prospective buyers. By linking to 3 internal links 68% chance of readers will be more likely to subscribe to your RSS feed if they are able to read more than one article on your blog. Google values sites that link to high quality sites, it builds trust. So make sure to have 3 links to external sites, it will also help you build backlinks.
